Following a successful inaugural festival in 2025, FAW returns this November—bigger, bolder and more ambitious. This year, our theme is ILLUMINATE. 

We invite artists, makers and communities to be apart of our festival, shining a light on the ideas, actions and stories shaping a more sustainable future.

OPEN CALLS FOR CREATIVES

We have the following strands which creatives can apply to be involved with:
Showcases - (Visual artists showcasing work)
Makers - Subsidized spaces in the Black Country Artisan Fair 
Producers & Performers - seed funding to run events in local venues 
Paraders - Represent your community in our Lantern parade

Whether through performance, making, exhibitions, workshops or shared experiences, we welcome imaginative proposals that inspire connection, conversation and positive change.
