LGK in the Community, in partnership with Walsall Council, is seeking artists to create a series of large-scale murals celebrating the lives, stories and achievements of women from Walsall. Following a major oral history project, sixteen local women have shared their experiences through filmed interviews. We are now looking for artists to transform these stories into bold, inspiring public artworks that will become permanent landmarks across Walsall town center. Each Queen will have an imbedded augmented reality feature that links to their 20-30sec video bringing the walls to life. The illustrations of the women need to be from stills taken from the action screen shots of the video assets in order for the AR to be realistic. More information on queensofthecity.lgk.org.uk
