Changing Places is an ambitious Creative People and Places programme, connecting communities across North West Leicestershire through arts and culture, made possible by Arts Council England. The project aims to make creativity visible in people’s everyday lives, helping communities to connect, participate, and build pride of place through shared cultural activity.

Arts Council England has awarded £750,000 for the project to be led by Coalville CAN on behalf of a consortium which is made up of a variety of organisations committed to the local area and rooted in our communities, including the National Forest, NWL GP Federation, Our Co-op and Coalville Public Radio.

We are currently looking for a bold, people-focused Programme Director to lead Changing Places, who is enthusiastic and experienced in community-led creative programming.

The Director will lead in bringing the programme aspirations to life, managing a small team and working with residents, artists and partners to co-create a programme that builds pride, connection and opportunity.
